This test is
designed to diagnose unconscious motives of behavior and personality traits
hidden from the observer. The test requires the client to choose the two most
liked and the two most disliked persons from each of six groups of photographs.
There are eight photographs in each group.
Often used
psychodiagnostic techniques are predominantly verbal once which means that they
are based on the questionnaires and most of them are not protected from the
motivational distortions.
Szondi Test stimuli is more
protected from those distortions since it could be freely interpreted and it is
not verbally or semantically loaded.
This version of
Szondi Test differs from the previous ones by the fact that all photographs are
displayed on the computer screen simultaneously and the quality of the
photographs is equal to the standard version.
VGP and
empirical complementary profile (EKP) evaluation and personality profile
construction follows the test procedure. Drive scheme, drive class and latent
proportion are also calculated. Interpretation of data is based on
psychoanalytic approaches and traditions.

Scince 1995 when we have developed the first version of the Szondi Computer Program (for MS-DOS operating system) it was respected by many Russian organizations which use the Szondi Test in their psychology practice. Many of them returned to us the approbation reports with excelent comments.
In Sep 2000 we have developed the Consul Integrator shell program to integrate a number of psychodiagnostic computer based inventories into one universal program. The Szondi Test is available as pluggable software module into Consul-Integrator Program.
